Let's Chat! Friendly and Experienced PhD

Hello! I'm a PhD student in Literature at Harvard who loves languages. I've taught English as a Second Language both at the university level, as well as privately, and am happy to integrate a little grammar review into our conversations or just chat in English!

I also speak Russian and French, so I am familiar with the difficulties involved in learning other languages, and am skilled at finding simple and clear ways in which to express a confusing word or concept.

My interests are varied, and there are very few things I am not interested in, but you can often find me playing piano, ice skating, or reading the science section of the NY Times (I was a scientist in a past life) when I'm not working on my dissertation.

As someone whose job it is to make students talk in class, I am skilled at getting people to talk, and I promise we won't run out of things to talk about!

Times (PST/Pacific Time):
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
7 p.m. - 2 a.m.

Half-hour increments work as well.

I look forward to meeting you virtually!
